Dr. Ratnesh Tiwari

Dr. Ratnesh Tiwari (Director) is an engineering postgraduate and has a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. He has more than eight years of extensive experience as a researcher and consultant in the sustainability space. He has worked on several sustainable development programs sponsored by different National and International agencies like Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, Ministry of Human Resource Development, The Energy & Resource Institute, Container Corporation of India Ltd, GIZ Germany, World Bank and United Nation Foundation, USA.
He is the Co-founder and CEO at Koshish Sustainable Solutions Pvt Ltd. Koshish focuses on promoting sustainable energy solutions, sustainable agriculture practices and sustainable eco-friendly products leading to sustainable economic growth with environmental upgradation leading to irreversible human development. He is passionate about socio-economic development of villages. He has an excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
Dr. Ratnesh has always focused on making a difference and creating positive change in lives of others. He believes that it is significant for all of us to create a cycle that induces abundance in the community. A firm follower of popular saying, “It is not what we get, but who we become and what we contribute that gives meaning to our lives” Dr. Ratnesh has made this noble approach an indispensable part of his life.

Shikha Sharma

Director & CEO
Shikha Sharma is the honorable Director & CEO of SATYA Shakti Shakti Foundation. She is a social change pioneer, a visionary, and an inspiring leader. Shikha operates with sheer compassion and warmth towards the amelioration of all those associated with SATYA Shakti Foundation. She also handles much of what SATYA Shakti does as an organization with energy, poise, and a great sense of priorities as the driving force behind operations. Shikha devotes much of her time to being an approachable figure in the organization, continually prioritizing the welfare of staff, volunteers, and clients at the forefront of all she does. Shikha’s passion for community welfare grew when she became involved with an old age home and realised how much more could be done in the name of humanity.
Shikha is a dual post-graduate in HR & Operations from Institute of Management Technology. Shikha has over 20 years of copious experience in the banking industry and is skilled in the whole life cycle of talent acquisition (across Pan India), across different verticals and from senior to middle profiles. Her strength is development & maintenance of Client & Candidate relationships. She has good experience in Training and Developement at various levels in different organisations. Prior to SATYA Shakti Foundation, Shikha has served the board of Subhlakshmi Finance Pvt. Ltd as an Independent Director and Strategic Advisor. She has also worked with renowned organizations like Citifinancial Consumer Finance India Ltd., ICICI Bank, and ART Affordable Housing Finance (India) Ltd.

Vivek Tiwari

Director
Vivek Tiwari, the founder of SATYA Shakti Foundation is one of the renowned veterans from Indian Microfinance Industry. He is the man behind laying the foundation of this philanthropic organization. Acquiring prolific experience of more than 20 years in microfinance sector to promote financial inclusion, social entrepreneurship, and impact investing, he is the MD, CIO & CEO of SATYA MicroCapital Ltd – one of the leading NBFC-MFIs across the nation. Apart from SATYA, Vivek also serves the Board of MFIN (Microfinance Institutions Network) – an association for microfinance sector in India as its Vice Chairperson. Till date he has supported more than 4 lakh entrepreneurs and has extended employment opportunities to around 7 lakh households in 27000 villages spread across 21 states of the country.
Vivek holds a Post Graduate Degree in Rural Development & Management from the Institute of Engineering & Rural Technology, Allahabad and is also a certified professional of Concentration in Management Programme from Boulder Microfinance Training, Italy. He has been SATYA Shakti Foundation’s treasurer since its establishment and brings a wealth of financial expertise to Foundation’s operations. Vivek has also been recognized as Promising Entrepreneurs of India 2021 by The Economic Times.

Harsh Srivastava

Independent Director
Harsh is a public policy expert who has worked for 26 years across governments, businesses, industry bodies, media, and civil society. Across these roles, he has demonstrated leadership; developed strategy; effectively advocated for industries and companies; improved governance of institutions; managed crises; contributed to public policy; and, mastered public relations and communications. Harsh has represented microfinance with the RBI, Union and State governments, and with analysts and investors. Harsh has been the CEO of MFIN (Microfinance Institutions Network), which is the self-regulatory organization of all microfinance providers in India. He has held senior posts in Srei Infrastructure Finance, Feedback Infra, Reliance Capital, Feedback Ventures, and CII (Confederation of Indian Industry). Apart from SATYA Shakti Foundation, Harsh is also an independent director on the board of Ambition Financial Services, Rabbit Innovations (a fintech startup), and India Center Foundation. He was on the board of MUDRA and was a member of the Financial Inclusion Advisory Committee of the Reserve Bank of India and of the Working Group of the MSME Ministry to review the MSME Act. He was also a member of an advisory committee constitute by the National Commission of Scheduled Castes, and the board of the Meghalaya Institute of Governance. Harsh is a member of the Responsible Leaders Network of the BMW Foundation.

Pradip Bastia

Sr. Program Manager
Pradip Bastia is a Social Science professional with more than 16 years of experience. He is a Gold Medalist in Master of Arts in Sociology from Sambalpur University and is a BSc Graduate in Botany (Hons) from the Sambalpur University. His areas of specialization includes Reproductive Health, Mother & Child Health, WASH, Geriatric Care, Mobile Medicare Unit Operations, Micro – Finance.
He has worked in various parts of India with various organizations like Smile Foundation, CAF India, HelpAge India, DFID (As Junior Scientist – Oil seed Research Program), BASIX (BSFL), CSR (IMFA, Bhubaneswar) and projects of USAID and Save the Children & Bachpan Bachao Andolan.

Praachi Tewari Gandhi

Independent Director
Praachi Tewari Gandhi is a Sociologist and ex-lecturer from the Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University, having substantial experience in the financial inclusion space internationally. Since 2014, Praachi has been supporting microfinance institutions to get certified in responsible finance and client protection, being a corporate trainer and championing social responsibility, being on the governance of international microfinance institutions. During the course of her work with established NGOs in India, Praachi qualified with an Honorary Doctorate in Holistic Health Therapies from Apollo Hospital, India, to serve the underserved women she worked with in 2004. In 2021 Praachi set up Aananda Foundation to forward her dream of bringing ‘happiness and empowerment’ to vulnerable segments of society, be it youth or women. Praachi is also pursuing her doctoral interest, focusing on women’s happiness and empowerment within financial inclusion. She is a published writer who has authored the industry book: “Viji Fondly Remembered, an FWWB Publication”.

Ramesh KD

Program Manager

KD is a PG Diploma holder from the IGNOU in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). He has worked across the development sector with organizations such as Deepalaya, Escorts Ltd, Kajaria Ceramics Ltd, and other NPOs in India, and with Highline College in the USA. He has 5 years of experience in Planning, Implementing & Monitoring CSR programs; Starting and growing community-based programs to support the holistic development of youths; Creating – Policies & SOP; Managing Donor relationships, and others. His interests range from volunteering to entrepreneurship, gardening, reading, teaching, mentoring, making a difference & DIY.

Amrita Singh

Program Officer
Amrita Singh is a Social Science professional with more than nine years of experience. She did Masters in Environment & Development Studies from Ambedkar University Delhi and Graduation from Delhi University in Geography (Hons.). Areas of specialization includes health, gender, SHW, WASH (water, sanitation, health, and hygiene), sexual and reproductive rights, women, and adolescents along with advocacy and training.
She has worked with various organizations like JAGORI, SPUWAC (Special Police Unit for Women and Children), Ministry of Women and Child Development, DUSIB, DA, GIZ, WaterAid US, Plan International, EU, UNICEF, Asian Paint, Coco-Cola, Force and MARG.

Munmun Ojha

Program Officer
Munmun holds a Master’s degree in Development Studies from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela and Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Banaras Hindu University. She is an accomplished development professional with over 5 years of experience in conceptualizing and leading programs, zeal to learn new concepts and innovate with different ideas to achieve best results.
Prior to joining SATYA Shakti Foundation, she has worked with Ambuja Cement Foundation, ChildFund India in the field of Health, Livelihood, Child Protection and skill development with rural communities.
